Why Choose Us?

Multi-Disciplinary Approach

We believe in using a multidisciplinary well-rounded approach to treatment. We make efforts to utilize the minimum effective dose of medication alongside healthy coping skills, developing support systems, and other social and cognitive based solutions. This “start low, go slow” philosophy reduces the risks for medication interactions or side effects, which can occur especially in patients with multiple conditions. Your care will require commitment and transparency on your part with your providers, just like what we promise to deliver to you in return.

Experience

The owner of Apricity is a doctoral-level prepared nurse practitioner board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center with over 15 years of healthcare experience in various settings including inpatient nursing (med-surg and psychiatry), corrections and outpatient mental health care. We will also connect you to individual psychotherapy services and other community resources if appropriate.

Culturally Competent Care

As a private practice owned and operated by a minority woman and first generation college graduate, Apricity Behavioral Health is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every individual is valued, respected, and supported during their mental health journey.

Reviews & Testimonials

Kind words from our patients

Brian C.

I was referred to Dr. Crone by my community mental health provider LMFT for an initial Telehealth psychiatric assessment and medication review. Dr. Crone embraces all of the essential qualities, skills and licensure required to practice and excel in her profession as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She connects that knowledge and expertise with her presence. Dr. Crone demonstrates strong, engaging communication and is an active listener. She offers patience, empathy, compassion and a genuine commitment for my well-being and holistic health. I discovered that she reflects and fulfills a philosophy, a perspective and critical thinking that are consistent with my own introspection. After examining my history, physical health issues, emotional and mental processes, we developed a joint treatment plan to include medication management and follow-up.

I look forward to our continued collaboration. Working as a team, I am confident with achieving my goals to “Heal, Grow, and Thrive!”

Kelly M.

“Dr Crone is incredibly thorough, respectful and caring. She works very hard to understand the person and circumstances as a whole. She did a great job at listening, explaining my diagnosis, medications, ways of coping and including me in the decision process. I am feeling SO much better since I first started seeing her. I cannot thank Dr Crone enough!”

Kim S.

“I’ve been seeing Dr Crone for almost a year. She has made a huge difference in my mental health, first by listening to and understanding my history and then making a plan to work with me on to make my health and life better. She has compassion and knowledge which she shares freely. At 70 years old and having worked as a nurse for 43 of those years , I have never had nor met a health care provider with her skills. She’s a great person and healthcare provider and I’m thankful I found her.”
